Nofil Khalil is consultant clinical neurophysiologist at Hammersmith Hospitals, London and Honorary senior lecturer at Imperial College. He undertook his specialist training at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard University, USA, and then Hammersmith Hospital, London where he obtained his PhD (London University) and a Diploma in Clinical Neurology from the Institute of Neurology (London University). He specialises in all aspects of Clinical Neurophysiology (Nerve Conduction Studies/Electromyography, EEG and Evoked Potential). In particular he has a special interest in the use of nerve conduction studies and electromyography in the diagnosis and assessment of entrapment neuropathies (e.g. carpal tunnel syndrome), traumatic nerve injuries, generalised neuropathies (e.g. diabetes).
