Albert Ferro is Consultant Physician at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals in London, and a Professor of Cardiovascular Clinical Pharmacology at King’s College London. He qualified in Medicine from King’s in 1984, and obtained his PhD in Clinical Pharmacology from the University of Cambridge in 1993. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of London. His major interest and specialism is in high blood pressure, and more generally in prevention of heart disease, and has published widely in major international journals.
